Meals on Wheels Organization delivers meals to homebound community members to ensure their safety and well being. Meals are delivered daily however SPRITES has assigned routes in east county on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. Volunteers will sign up in Causer-Get Connected.
Teams of 4 will make a delivery for the Saturday route.
Registered volunteers will meet at American Legion, 8118 University Ave., La Mesa at 10:25am. The MOW truck will arrive at 10:30am and provide the pre-packaged meals, route schedule and instructions on using the Mobile Meals app. The route will take approx. 2 hours. 4 volunteers should plan to ride in 1 vehicle.
