PMC is located across 15th street, but you check in at 1501 Imperial Avenue, 92101. If you have questions on where to go, please ask security when you check in for your shift and they will point you in the right direction.
PRIOR TO EVENT…..PLEASE READ
Dress code: long pants (NO rips), shirt/t-shirt with sleeves (NO tank tops) and closed toe-shoes.
Each volunteer must have a separate account and register for the event individually (under their own name) with Father Joe's Villages thru SPRITES personal link before they show up to volunteer. This step is mandatory, even if you have volunteered with FJV in the past. FJV is a 24-hour shelter that houses families and individuals, therefore it is a secure facility and must always know who is on-site. Per policy, volunteers not registered before the event will be turned away by security, preventing them from volunteering. Volunteer Services is not in the office on weekends, so it is essential to have these steps completed before arriving at Father Joe's Villages.
1. Go to SPRITES' FJV volunteer website link: https://vhub.at/SPRITES
2. Create a volunteer account. (Everyone must have their own account to volunteer. If your daughter does not have an email address, you are welcome to use your own as long as her name, date of birth, etc., are entered correctly to ensure you receive the proper waivers.)
3. When asked about a join code, click "next" and complete your registration.
4. Sign-up for your reserved spots.

Parking: Free parking is available on the corner of 16th St., between Imperial Ave. and Commercial Ave. (closer to Commercial). At the driveway leading under the Villages, push the intercom button to let security know that you are here for volunteer services. When you drive past the gate of the garage, please take the ramp down and turn right into our public parking area. (All parking on the left-hand side is reserved.) Spaces are made for compact cars. Check-in: If you take the stairs from the parking garage, it will take you to the main lobby. Please check in on the tablet with the security team for your event (they are stationed at the gray kiosk).
