Project Connect Thanksgiving Dinner for the families of Monarch School in downtown San Diego has opened volunteer sign ups for this year! Monarch School Project has been dedicated to providing a sense of belonging for thousands of unhoused youth and their families
2024 marks the 20th Annual event of serving a warm, gourmet Thanksgiving dinner and fun Fall Festival to neighbors at Monarch School!
The event will be held on Saturday November 23rd, 2024 at the Monarch School campus (1625 Newton Ave, 92113)
Volunteer Shifts having varying start times and commitments.
**Please note: for safety purposes, each child under 13 needs to be paired with an adult. For example, two kids need two adults.

Shift in the link include:
Event Prep: 11am-3pm (unloading cars, setting up tables & chairs) Kitchen or Nutrition Lab Crew: 1pm-6pm (all things kitchen- from carving turkeys, cutting pies to clean-up)
Dining Room Crew: 1pm-6pm (setting tables, serving dinner, table hosting, clean-up)
Fall Festival Crew: 1pm-7pm (set up games, run games, serve hot chocolate/popcorn, give away prizes)
Event Clean Up: 5pm-8pm (fresh energy to help at festival, tear down tables, tear down games, load cars at the end of the night)
